Does this mean supporting as in yes the new hardware is a good idea, or supporting as in developing games?

I think they're making games- they were listed at the playstation meeting. If this is the case- I'd be happy to bung platinum a couple of quid to see what they're up to.. And nicalis- aren't they the cave story studio? Looking forward to seeing what the smaller studios might be doing for digital-only release.

Anyone think Gears of War will find itself on the PS4? The IP is owned by Epic but Microsoft have published it and paid to keep it exclusive.

Its the only franchise i feel im missing out on Playstation.

Gears is a weird one for me. I absolutely loved 1&2 but part 3 felt average to me. Maybe i just started to feel that the gameplay was getting stale. Cant quite put my finger on it. It is my favourite Xbox exclusive though. Well 1&2 are. :)

Im the same, Only played the first 2 games. Ive heard that they have gradually got worse but there's just something about the franchise i like.

Lost so many hours back in the day Online trying to get the 'Seriously' achievement.

Ive already decided that i wont be going anywhere near the next xbox so looks like i'll continue to miss out of Gears of War.

Totally agree 1st was excellent by the third i only completed it to see if it got better.
Was just a bore fest duck shoot move forward and so on.
Infact i was so bored i can not even rember any of the story line doubt i took any notice of it any way, was falling asleep playing the game it was that boring.
But it's the same with alot of games:Dead Space first excellent downhill from there did not even bother with the 3rd installment after watching video.
Halo also first was great downhill from there.

Yeah, there's been nothing announced yet.

    Fanboi!!!!

I'll be keeping an open mind. If finances restrict me to just one of them, I'll get what I think is the best of the 2 and/or looks like having the best day one release schedule.

I'm being completely open minded about it too, once my PS4 arrives I'll decide if I'm getting a Xbox as well. :D

Lol can i shake your hand Mr sit on the fence man.

On a serious note I'm the same as you. Finances wont restrict me but time does. I don't have time for both anymore. The only reason I'm swaying towards the PS4 is due to the exclusives, vita integration and being a PS+ subscriber i want to see how that pans out.

If you keep telling yourself that, one day it may become true.:p

The first one was ok, blatant rip-off of KillSwitch though, second more of the same, but with horrid multiplayer, and the 3rd was just awful, even in "insane co-op", utterly forgettable.
The 4th, I guess milking the cash cow, videos don't show anything other than the other games offered, which is a tad boring now.

The latest Halo was a let down, another in the long line of stagnated shooter sequels.

I've never played any of the Halo's (shame on me) not have I got into GoW. Played the first one for a bit then that was it. I always said I'd get into Halo but finding the time to juggle coursework, pc gaming, ps3 gaming and 360 gaming is rare to say the least.

    One day........

My friends and I have enjoyed all the Gears of War campaigns and played through them multiple times. The multiplayer in 2 was dreadful, got better in 3 to start off with, but then they made a shambles of it all with various issues and the season pass debacle. Not going to be purchasing the latest instalment straight away because I've learnt from past mistakes and the multiplayer again looks dreadfull, so will pick it up for the campaign when it drops in price.

Halo's campaign has declined overtime, but as has the campaign in all FPS games imo. Still enjoyed playing it and completed it solo on Legendary :) Halo 4 also looks very good considering it's running on 7 year old kit!

Bioshock's campaigns have been great... 2 was better than 1 and Infinite looks to be great as well, but time will tell!

Though saying that, it's not exclusive to one over the other.

Interesting. I thought the 2nd bioshock campaign was average compared to the original. Infinite does look good though. :smashin:

Tbh, I haven't played the first for like 6 or 7 years and played Bioshock 2 again maybe a year ago or so. Really enjoyed beating it on the hardest difficulty. Some areas were ridiculously hard.

I do think the picking whether you will harvest or rescue the little girls affects the outcome of the game adds to replay value.

I played on the bad side the second time through and had a hard time making some of those decisions, lol.
