Destruction Derby

I was talking to a Friend the other day about how great it would be if there was a destruction derby game for the PS3, so does anyone know if there's one in the pipe lines or anything?

I don't think it's in the pipelines at the moment but it's always possible Sony may bring it back at some point. The closest thing would be Flatout:Ultimate carnage which does have a destruction derby mode but it's only on the 360 and PC unfortunately.
