I thought they did a wonderful job with the three young girls.
There was room for annoyance there, but they were spot on, especially the youngest.

Still can't shake the idea that Steve Carrell sounded like he was doing a poor Dr. Evil impression.

Reminded me more of William Sadler's Death from Bill & Ted :D Really enjoyed this one and can't understand all of the negative reviews. Thought it was better than Megamind, which I found disappointing.

Rotten Tomatoes certainly didn't give it many negative reviews. It's at 82% at the moment.

It was more the word of mouth stuff. People were slating it on IMDb and a few people told me it wasn't great. I really enjoyed it though. I think I'm finally at the age where cute kids melt my otherwise frozen heart :D

I really like the look of this one. Got the US disc on pre order. Looks like it's getting ready to be sent too.

No sign of a release over here yet.

some possibly silly questions..since this is a 3d release..it also contains the 2D version...can this be played on any blu-ray player..or does it have to be a 3d player for the player to recoqnise the disc? (im assuming the 2d version would be on a seperate disc..

second question..who has released this? is it region free (im assuming region coding applies to 3 D releases as well

I'd say it's worth it when you consider the quality of the movie and the amount of bonus features on the 3D version. It's loaded.

As much I enjoyed Despicable Me, I'm just back from seeing Megamind and it outclassed it on every front.

Both good in their own right, Megamind just happened to have more themes and humour that an adult could appreciate, while a child would be bored, waiting for the next explosion or whatever.
