    Thanx :lease:

I am going to but the only thing is that I have upgraded it to a multi region and maybe they will consider it a breach of the warranty

It doesn't even read the disc cleaner! It's so strange, I've placed even a CD and again it just keeps spinning!

I don't think Pioneer care about regionless players. No serious manufacturer should anyway. Most of the mods are done by remote anyway, without physical hardware modification. You'll be fine.

Solution to all the problem was a faulty laser!! really disappointed me. nevertheless it is under warranty, but again with so little playing time and it f***ed up on me, it really disheartened me with Pioneer products

My mate works at an official Pio repair centre and is told to reject any DVD player that has been region modded! (by order of Pioneer)

I know how you feel as you can only go from your own experience, but to be fair to Pioneer, their equipment is normally excellent.

Don't let one bad experience sour you for ever.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

I agree with mjcairney, just read this forum. You dont get many complaints of reliability issues with these players.
