Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2500 Digital

my friend has a Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2500 Digital with one digital coax input that he uses for his multi region dvd player.
he has brought a uk xbox that has optical output.
how can he connect both of these to one coax input?
any ideas?
