    Hi

Can anyone recommend a decent desktop stand for a Pioneer PDP-50mxe1?

Preferably one which will give the panel enough height to allow a KEF egg centre speaker to be mounted on the desktop in front of the screen.

    Thanks

    Neal

Not knowing your setup, but such a nice screen as that is worthy of wall mounting, surely!

I don't really fancy going down the wall mount route at the moment for a number of reasons. Not least of which is that my walls are plaster board and I just don't trust them holding the weight.
Also there is a possibility that we may move later in the year so I don't want to bugger about drilling more holes only to to be filled in a few months time.

The panel is due to be delivered on Tuesday so I really need to sort out a mount pdq. I'll do a bit more seaching and see if I can get one ordered tonight.

Thanks for the response anyway Major.

Ah....the joys of moving house, eh?

I've moved once, not wanting to do it again. I'm happy where I am....until I get a lottery windfall!

I could knock you up a stand out of some pallets I have out the back, for free ;)

Thank you for your kind offer Major. However on this occasion I shall not be requiring your doubtless expert carpentry skills as I am in fact going to build my own stand out of a knackered up pram which I found by the railway tracks near where I live. ;)

    Cheers

It comes with some rather hideous plastic feet in the accessories box to get you up and running, but Veda do a cheaper desk stand that might fit your bill if you can't run to the genuine article. Should be about £150
