Ok, just a bit of fun this one and a twist on a theme.

You are allowed to take 3 gaming platforms on to a desert island (which has a convenient 240v mains supply!). You are naturally allowed to take a TV/display to use them on as well.

You can also take 2 games for each platform that you take! What are your choices?? All platforms must be available to buy now (either new or second hand).

    Mine are...

    X-Box - Pro Evo 4, Forza Motorsport

    PSP - Lumines, Wipeout Pure

Saturn - Radient Silvergun, Panzer Dragoon Saga

Guess a projector wouldn't be much use with all that sun & only a palm tree to project onto ;)
    Mine would be:

Playstation 2 - Disgaea(haven't even scratched the surface yet), Vandal Hearts 2 (I know it's a psone game but works on PS2)

Gamecube - Burnout2 (yes I have Burnout3 on Xbox, but there's something I love about Burnout2 on the cube), Resident Evil4

Xbox - Ralisport Challenge2 (still love this game), GTA: San Andreas (always something to keep you going in this one ;) )

Yep, those are the ones (and two's) for me

Gamecube - Mario Golf, Burnout 2 ( good choice Tetlee )

    N64 - Perfect Dark, F-Zero X ( still prefer this to F-Zero GX )

Dreamcast - Soul Calibur, Quake III Area ( although I nearly picked SNES or GBA as my third choice )

Hmmm, hard choice. I'd have to take a PlayStation of some description, and with it I would take Final Fantasy VII and Parappa

I'd also take a DreamCast and take Space Channel 5 and Tony Hawk II

And i'd take a GBA SP, along with Zelda: Link's Awakening, and Minish Cap

I think it would have been easier to just choose one game! ;)

PS2 - Granturismo 4, grand theft auto SA (both are big games that'll last a while)

Xbox - Forza and ninja gaiden

PC - Age of empires 2 and deus ex

These arent the best games out but i think theyre the ones that'll last a long time on the desert island

    Likewise...

Pro Evo 4 - Been playing it constantly (in various guises) for around 7 years and it's still as fresh today! The only video game that I haven't got bored with over time.

Forza Motorsport - stacks of gameplay in this and a great game to boot.

Lumines - Very addictive and again a game that you can always just pick up and go back to.

Wipeout Pure - Played this loads and have only just scratched the surface. Constant updates add to the longevity.

Radient Silvergun - Shoot em up heaven, difficult and great fun. Definately one of if not the best shootem up ever.

Panzer Dragoon Saga - Massive and brilliant game!

Some of the above (Wipeout, PES, Forza) greatly benefit from an internet connection. Now i'm sure I saw an RJ-45 socket in one of those palm trees :D :smashin: .

ZooKeeper is an adictive bugger, TBH that game is driving me crazy, just as I secured a first place on time attack with 4152320, my GF goes and knocks me down to second just minutes later, now despite spending weeks trying I can't get anywhere near it

    Dreamcast: Shenmue; Powerstone 2

    PS1: Suikoden; Final Fantasy 7

PS2: Kingdom Hearts; Frontline: Medal of Honor.

I tried to put xbox on there but I thought there was really not a game that could top those above if I HAD to have 6 games only...

Some great choices, apart from MOH IMO. Powerstone 2 is a great game but most of it's enjoyment is in it's multiplayer game for me. Suikoden and FFVII are great RPG's and definately worth a play through. Shenmue is awesome but i'd probably go for Shenmue 2 over the original. Can't argue with Kingdom Hearts either, not my cup of tea, but a great game none the less.

Just stumbled over this thread and it's a tough one...

GBA SP - Super Mario World Advance (still not found all of the levels yet) and Advance Wars 2 (always room for improvement in this game)

PS2 - Rez (short game but I can play it again and again and again and....) and Ico (beauuuuuuutiful)

Xbox - PGR2 (those platinums won't win themselves) and KOTOR (need the time to get into it)

Surely if I pack 2 handhelds, I can take an extra console? ;) And if I trade my PS2 in for a slimline model, could I not pack other systems in the gap the PS2 took up? I'd love to take my PSP with Lumines and Wipeout Pure but the screen's not so good in the sun and I get sore thumbs playing it!!! Of course, I could hide my PSP in the PS2's hard drive bay and you'd never know CAS :) There's also Pikmin and Animal Crossing on the Cube... And Shadowrun and Yoshi's Island on the SNES... Who the hell decided on THREE systems???? :D

I know what you mean... i'd also have

    a Dreamcast with Shenmue 1 & 2
a Megadrive with Gunstar Heroes and Gauntlet IV
a SNES with Chrono Trigger and Super Mario Kart
an N64 with Goldeneye and Zelda OOT
a Gamecube with Metroid Prime and Tales of Symphonia (got this but never had the chance to play it!)

I guess it's interesting to see what people pick though, when faced with a tough choice.
