Question Denon X3400H and MA?

Hi
I already own a Denon X3400H and I'm very pleased with it. Having recently purchased a new Sony 4K TV i'm thinking of upgrading the existing speakers to the following
LCR: Monitor Audio - SB-3
Rears: Monitor Audio MASS 10

I've chosen the passive soundbar as it allows me to continue to use the HDMI switching of the receiver and HEOS functionality

Any thoughts on the proposed new setup would be appreciated?

Thanks
Kam

If you've got the room then any proper 5.1. system with individual speakers is going to trounce a soundbar. The soundbar really is a waste of the 3400 talents.

If you really have to go with a soundbar solution, I would suggest looking at the Monitor Audio Radius One Soundbar, Using the Radius speakers would be better suited to the X3400H.

As a compact 5.1 with the soundbar, the Radius One AV is one idea

I would agree with others though and if you could fit something Radius R90 HT1 or something a little different like the Focal Dome Flax surround sound speaker package, then these would outperform any soundbar solution with better sound dispersion if you need to keep the speakers small
