Hi all,

I have a new (2 months old) Denon AVR-X2500H and Q-acoustics 3000 range in 5.1 setup.

I hear a cracking noise, almost like components warming up in the AV receiver, when this happens it disrupts audio for a second.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Or what to start looking for?

Thanks in advance

You say cracking, could it possibly be a relay clicking.

Does this happen all the time, every so often or at specific times or when something happens? Is it with all sources or a specific source.

Doesn't happen all the time, just at random intervals there doesn't appear to be any pattern. Seems to occur in all sources.

I can hear relays clicking when turning up the volume, but this sound isn't the same.

You should not hear any relays clicking when you turn up the volume, it should be a smooth progression. This to me sounds like a problem that needs to be looked at by Denon under their warranty.
