    Hi all,

I've been looking to replace by amp/dvds to partner my plasma TV. I have been leaning towards the 3803/2900 combination. Mind you that PAL&NTSC progressive scan and multiregion is a must.

Having read however the various problems reported by people on the 2900 when they applied the multiregion firmware, I've started having second thoughts. Apparently Denon, after their probelms on the 2800 MKII, are reluctant to release an official multiregion firmware and the idea of sending my 2900 back to Denon for a 4 week period for resetting is not really appealing.

I'm therefore thinking whether I should go for the AX5/757 combination.

I'd appreciate some thoughts, views, or experiences with members who perhaps have this combo. Also should I consider a 3803/757 combination, or should I really stick with products from the same stable?
