    Newbie here!

I have a Denon UD-M50 mini system, with the bundled misson speakers, set-up in my lounge. I would like to wire 2 additional speakers from the Denon into the adjacent kitchen.

I think that I need a seperate amp to do this?
Can someone please advise on how I could get this set-up?

    Thanks,
    Shippo

If you want both pairs of speaker on simultaneously, you can simply wire the additional pair in series. This will however reduce the volume.

If you need to be able to select speakers then there are speaker switches for that exact purpose starting from a few pounds. I've got an unused one in one of my many boxes of "stuff I'm gonna use one day". We could talk a deal if you're interested.

    Example here.
