    Denon S-101 2.1 DVD-V system

Now Im a convinced 2.1 user of my hifi setup, with a DVD-V player as my main source but whilst in the US recently, I had the chance to view & listen to one of these Denon systems and it was pretty damned good I must say for DVD (PAL PS via component) & CD use, in fact I was more than amazed by how the CD sounded, when you consider the raft of facilities this unit offers, you can get a MR one for £849. I assume the amplification for the speakers is in the subwoofer 100W + 100W for sub via the system link plug, Ipod users will like the interface on the front – which also charges the unit, also has a toslink digital output and 2 digital inputs which means it can be used in conjunction with say a Freeview STB or Sky. Denon seem to have a good rosta of kit just now (ie the 1500AE series) and this adds to them.
