Hi, just home and setting up my 1906.
Ordered from my local dealer i open it up and only has a european 2 prong plug. Whats the deal with that. I'm not really into using an adaptor. Should I not have been issued a UK version?

Some dealers get grey imports from Europe. Just cut the 2 pin plug off and wire a UK plug onto it. Or you could use one of those UK plug adaptors (the 2 pin plug goes up inside a standard looking UK plug).

If you're worried about performance then you could fit a male IEC connector like this. That way you could then upgrade your mains lead to a shielded non-RFI cable.

Can't say I've ever experienced any performance problems using an adaptor.

I've just received a Denon AVR-2106 and that came with a 2 to 3 pin adapter fitted around the 2-pin plug inside.
Either I've got a European import, or this is the way the UK models are actually shipped.

Anyone got an AVR-xx06 with a moulded 3-pin plug?

    Update :
Just spoke to Denon technical support and they confirmed that a UK model will have a 2 to 3 pin adapter fitted around the 2-pin plug inside.
