    Hi

Both the Denons you have mentioned are great receivers, personally I´d go with the best you can afford. You should be able to pick up a 3802 for around 650.

Its worth doing a search on the forum as there have been quite a few posts about where to buy them.

    cheers

    I agree with Jase.

I purchased my 3802 from Leading Edge Concepts for £629 three weeks ago. Its a great reciever! Despite what i read about it not being the best amplifier for music, i put a tag-mclaren cd DAC in front of it (as the internal DACs arent great for music) and its amazing, especially at higher volumes. It poo poos all over my old sherwood intergrated stereo amp. DPL2 is great for TV, it really brings many programes to life. buy it and enjoy :)

LEconcepts will price match and beat anything but unbeatable can offer a extended warrenty at a very good price.

you can easily find the 3802 for 650 and less.

Denon makes great receivers, but do listen to them with your own speakers. It's the match that counts.
