Denon has been named one of Britain's 50 coolest brands for the third year running.

The "Superbrands Cool Council" announced Denon's place in the top 50 today, and it appears alongside the likes of MTV, Diesel Jeans, Audi, Gaggia, Agent Provocateur, Moet et Chandon and Oakley.

Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the CoolBrands council, had this to say about Denon's top 50 placing: "Winning awards is almost intrinsic to the Denon brand, with universal recognition for quality amongst both professionals and enthusiasts. To add to these achievements we are proud to present Denon with the highly deserved accolade of CoolBrand 2005."

For a full roundup of the top 50, check out the glossy CoolBrands book that's going to be covermounted on November's Dazed and Confused magazine.
