denon HT 500SD vs panasonic scht25r

    hello!

    iv been reading all your threads on the denon 500sd and it sounds like a great piece of equipment. But someone recommended the panasonic sc-ht25r as it has a DVD recorder too. They are both about the same price, just need some advise on which is the better system - for sound and picture?

    The denon is much better without a doubt, the SCHT25 is just a DMRE55 and SCHT05 so it will only be a good recorder with an OK sound system, whereas the Denon is a good player with good sound!!
