Denon DVD-3910 HDMI no signal

I am hoping someone can help please.

I have a Denon DVD-3910 and a Sanyo PLVZ5 projector.
I am using a 5m QED HDMI cable to connect the two.

When i hook the dvd up to the projector i get no signal, it doesn't matter what settings i use, it doesnt work, and then after a while the DVD player hangs and the only thing i can do it power it off. It wont go into standby, eject the tray, anything...

if i hook it up to my Plazma TV using the same cable, its absoloutly fine..no problems at all....


any idea what's going on...

I had a similar problem connecting the 3910 with a Sim2 Domino 20H using HDMI, but it happened only sometimes. It usualy worked when i turned on first the 3910 and then the proj... but with your pj might be diferent. Try a different connection to the pj (composite. s-video) and see if all the pj settings are ok.

3910 have some problems "talking" with some Pj's...
