    I know it's not a good idea to take too much notice of magazine reviews but, for those who are interested in the above player, it is reviewed in the August 2002 issue of What Video & TV and they loved it - in fact, I'd say they went a bit over the top:

    "CONCLUSION
    There is simply nothing bad to say about the DVD-3800. The build quality and design are flawless, but more importantly picture and sound quality is staggering. It's far superior to any mainstream deck, and if you've got a system to do it justice, DVD players simply don't come any better.

    VERDICT
    The best DVD player ever made? Very possibly."

    See, I told you they loved it - and no mention of chroma bugs anywhere.
