    Hi

I've had my Denon 2200 for a couple of months now and have been very happy with it until now...
When I play a home burned DVD with an adhesive label attached to the disc, the screen locks up after approximately 10 mins. It works fine with home burned DVDs without labels and all pre-recorded discs. These discs worked on my old DVD player so I know they're fine.

Has anyone else had this problem and know of a fix for it (firmware?)?

    Thanks

Dont use sticky labels on any disc media. Its like adding a balance weight and as dvd discs spin faster a sensitive drive will not like it and become unstable.(and denon drives tend to be very sensitive)

Use a printer that can print to a CD/DVD. Using sticky labels will shorten a drives life or kill it. Not wise at all

There is no firmware fix, to allow the use of sticky labels(be honest you new that already didnt u)Its very bad practice. Use a marker, its much safer
