I'm aware that it supports pro logic 2, but because it has no front inputs, will the gamecube output proper pro logic 2 to it? The gamecube itself supports it and demands a capable amp, but i'm just confused about connections. If the gamecube is only connected via scart into the back of the TV, then i'm not sure if the sound coming out the speakers will still be true DPL2

Assuming that you have your amp plugged into the telly's stereo audio outs, then yes, the amp can still decode DPL 2 from it when it has gone through the scart.
