I am pretty set on buying this well-regarded system, with speakers.

Best price I can see is 237.40 at tottenhamcourtroaddirect.co.uk, inc. delivery. Has anyone seen better?

Shame I wasn't looking a year ago, when welshpaul (see his thread) picked it up for 203 at Currys! By the way, what is Currys discount code?

As an update, Richer have the receiver for 174.95 and the speakers are 58.56 at discounttv.co.uk, so a total of 233.51 is now the best all-in price.

Where are all you people who own this system?!! How much did you pay and where did you buy from? :)

    Thank you.

Bought mine (without speakers) from Richer Sounds a year or so ago for £185, and use it with some ten year old Mission floorstanding speakers - it's in my 'playroom'. I'm very pleased with it.

    Thanks Radiohead.

I've had an M30 for a couple of years as a spare room system & it's very good. Bought from RS & coupled it with a pair of Mission M71is. Current price would be £235 all but the pennies & you have a single supplier. The Denon speakers are made by Mission anyway.

I don't think there's any reason to anticipate a price reduction.

Recently bought Denon M31 with Mission M31i's after comparing them with the speakers that came with the package. 31i's had more detail, separation and a fuller sound but mainly were easier listening over a long period of time. I think that a brief demo listen (15 mins) to any new system is not long enough to work out if the sound is comfortable, often what initially sounds 'good' can end up sounding harsh over a longer time.
