First time poster, so go easy on me please!

Bought a new house, and looking for a home cinema system to accompany my Samsung WS32Z308P CRT (the new one with the thin back).

The Denon DHT550SD seems to get pretty good reviews, but I have a few queries:

    1. Is the performance actually superior to the DHT500SD? Is it worth the extra £150? Or is it just a case of separates always being preferable?

    2. Does it come with speaker leads? If so, how long are they to the rear speakers?

    3. What is meant by saying it is "6.1" as opposed to "5.1"?

    4. Is it worth waiting for the new Denon systems: s-101/301? At what price are they likely to be introduced into the market?

With thanks in advance for your help,

    Issy
