Is it possible to link a portable mp3 player eg. ipod, and the above mentioned denon system. I really want to get rid of my huge cd collection which takes up too much room.

If its not possible is the only alternative to put the tracks all on my pc and buy one of these media players and have it wireless - but then can it be put through the denon?

your views much appreciated

If the system has phono AUX inputs then most MP3 players can be connected.
I have a docked iPod and a wireless MP3 player (Netgear MP101) connected to a TEAC Reference 250 unit and another MP101 connected to my Denon AV2105 - works very well and sounds good.

Thanks for your thoughts

These are the connectors:-

Digital inputs optical / coaxial = 1 / 1
Digital outputs optical / coaxial = 1 / -
Audio inputs = 3 (inclu. SCART)
Audio outputs = 1
Digital output = 96 kHz
Pre Outs = Subwoofer, Surround Back L/R
Video inputs Composite / S-Video = 2 / -
Video outputs Composite / S-Video = 2 / 1
Video outputs Component = 1
SCART = 1 (RGB, S-Video, Composite)
Headphones = (3,5 mm Socket)

Will anything work with these? :confused:

Audio inputs = 3 (inclu. SCART)

That leaves you 1 for the TV, 1 for mp3, and 1 left.
