    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has used or knows anything about this Denon CD Player (DCD 625). I gather it was about £150 when new, so I'm guessing it's sort of an earlier generation of the DCD685. I also know it has co-axial digital output.

I'm considering picking it up used for not too much money, so it's going to be good value no matter what, but there's plenty of other choices in the same price bracket (particularly Marantz CD Players), so I want to know it's going to sound decent.

I'm planning to use it initially with some Grado SR80 headphones, and then obviously with an amp/speakers at a later point when I can buy those.

Btw I really have looked all over the net for reviews and can find nothing. Don't suppose someone has a hi-fi mag they can look it up in?

    Thanks in advance,
    Simon.
