Hi all im very new to the field of AV

So i am about to install 2 ceiling atmos speakers rated at 8 Ohms,

Now this is where i am confused the amp says 4-to 16 ohms.

So does a that mean i can wire a 2nd set into the av and change the settings to allow for 4 ceiling speakers?

Or have i got it totally wrong?

I think you have got it totally wrong, just two ceiling speakers should do the job.

4-to 16 ohms means you can use speakers that have an impedance of between 4 and 16 Ohms and has nothing to do with the number of speakers.

Aw ok I figured I could put two sets in 8 plus 8 would be 16 and that would work.

Thanks for the heads up I’m learning as I go
