Anyone got either of these recievers? Is it REALLY worth paying the extra and getting the 3802 over the 2802? Should I be looking at something completley different for my money?

    Thanks :)

    Tee,
They are both good amps. If you can stretch to the 3802, go for it.

Go for the 3802 if you can HEAR the difference. The choice really depends on the speakers you have. If you have say the KEF eggs (very popular combo) then I don't think you will benefit from the 3802. If you have smaller speakers I would save some money and stick with the 2802. However if you have or plan to get big floor standing speakers that can handle the extra power of the 3802 then you will hear the difference.

At the end of the day let your ears decide.

    I've got:

    Acoustic Energy Aegis Three Loudspeakers
    Acoustic Energy Aegis One Loudspeakers
    Acoustic Energy Aegis Center Speaker
    Pioneer 717 DVD player

I rekon the 3802 is the one to go for.....
