Denon AVR-X4500H power amp/tuner

Whenever I connect my cell phone to the amp via bluetooth I always experience song drop-outs. I have tried three different phones the latest being the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G so I know it is not the phone. It works with my ear buds so it has to be the amp. Is this a firmware upgrade that I need to perform?

What source are you listening to? More specifically is it a streaming service directly supported by the Heos system as that would be a better option than Bluetooth.

I believe it is AMAZON MUSIC IN HEOS

Although my Marantz 7010 was the last model before Heos arrived so I can't confirm it myself.
