Hello
Denon AVR-X4100W - Buzzing sound, spark and now won't turn on
The Mrs noticed a buzzing sound in the room, figured out it was coming from the Denon (for some reason it was left on, not sure how long but it's been a few weeks since we last used it).
So she turned the reciever off from its power button to stop the buzzing, she then said it sparked from the back left (near the left attena).
It is now refusing to turn on.
The speaker wires from the back terminals are not black or marked and not touching each other. I unscrewed the metal chassis, no burn marks at all from just a quick glance down at the circuits, I only did a top down look to see if I could notice anything.
Any ideas what might have happened? And how to fix/repair it myself?
Or Is it worth looking at a proffesional repair?
(thinking of taking it to my local Richersounds as they are down the road from me)
Help is appreciated as always!
