Denon AVR-S760h Volume Issues

Hello everyone, I have a denon avr-s760h that was purchased new about 4 months ago. The volume is driving us crazy. When you adjust the volume (up or down) it will increase several numbers. If it's on 40 and you want to turn it down and just tap the volume down button it will go to 15 in a split second. It doesn't matter if you are using the Denon remote, the tv remote or the cable box remote. If you click it one click at a time it decreases .5 or increases .5 each time. So the only solution so far is using the Denon App for volume control. Any ideas from anyone. It's to the point we are going to replace it with something else. Thanks

That's how the Denon volume change works work. Tap it for small volume increases and hold it down for large.
It would be much more of an inconvenience if it went slow all the time or fast all the time.

If you listen over a small volume range you can set the level at which the Denon comes on at in Setup/Audio/Volume/Power On Level
