Hi all, so after callabration, there are two options, dynamic eq and dynamic volume. What does the latter one do? They settings are low, med, high and off. What do people keep it on if they keep this on at all?
This subject has been covered at various times. Basically DEQ has different settings for different sources, 0dB for film right up to -15dB for rock music. It can produce boomy bass and overblown effects and I for one never use it.
Dynamic Volume is different. It levels out the loud and quiet passages and is considered better for users that may have children asleep upstairs or do not want to alienate the neighbours. If you don't have these worries why use it.
