Question Denon AVR 3313 HDMI problems

Active Member
I have had my Denon AVR 3313 for 7 years, and have been very happy with it. But recently it has started to play up. The first symptom was the failure of ARC, from my LG tv. I had to switch to optical to fix that. Then I found that streaming video from an iMac via HDMI seemed to switch off all the other HDMI inputs. I had to a lot of switching on and off, replugging, etc. to fix that. I also did a factory reset, which appeared to work. But, little by little the problems have crept back. Today I have discovered that the AVR is passing all audio though to the TV. I can only get sound out of the speakers from an optical or analogue input.

We had a power surge in February, which destroyed various appliances (boiler, fridge freezer, subwoofer, printer, etc.), but my AV and IT is all on surge protected or UPS sockets. Maybe the HDMI inputs got damaged?

Anyway, does it look like the end for my AVR? Or is there anything I can do to restore HDMI function?
