What AV units are similar to this model if anything, two component inputs are the main thing I require, just want to weigh up the competition before I decide on one of these.

anyone have any links for a good price on the Denon?

    Thanks
    Tebo

Most amps at this price point have 2 componants. If you can find a Yamaha 1400 it has 3 componants and is a superb amp but in short supply. The Marantz 7400 and the newer 7500 are also worth a look.
    For prices look at www.pricerunner.co.uk

Dfour. The yamaha 1400 only has 2 component inputs, which is the reason I sold it and got the Denon 2805, as that has 3 inputs.

Hello Tebo. I've found it really impressive so far. At first i thought I wasnt going to get any improvement over my Yamaha, but I put in a CD and it completely blew me away in Stereo, and films are equally impressive.

I thought the bass could do with being a bit tighter, as I play alot of hip hop music, but I put it in Pure direct, and now it's perfect.

I have the Monitor Audio Bronze series, B4 floorstanders at the front, which are pretty base heavy, and then the full set around.

Hey Scotty, I'm looking at the 2105, what do you think of it? What are the major improvements of the 2805 over it? Thanks a lot! BTW, the 2805 is a bit pricey for me.

    http://www.avland.co.uk/denon/avr2105/avr2105.htm

    http://www.avland.co.uk/denon/avr2805/avr2805.htm

here are the specs, the info doesnt tell me much, as its all down to how nice it sounds really (to me anyway)
I may investigate this 2105 model a bit more, as the 2805 is a touch pricey as you say, the cheapest I have found so far is

    http://www.prcdirect.co.uk/PRC/PRC.storefront/EN/product/AVR2805SILVER

    http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_22279.html
and that looks a good price for the 2105, although they say they are waiting for stock.

That unit could save me £200 any comments on ninjai's question?

    Thanks
    Tebo

I'd like to know too. I'm considering either the 2105 or the 2805.

Actually I'm only considering the 2805 because the salesguy believed i'd have "more fun" out of that with the front speakers I have (Dali 8008). I'd really love to know whether it's worth paying almost twice the price to get the 2805.

One more thing, in Tebo's link of the 2105, the auto-setup feature with microphone is not listed. BUT as far as I know, the 2105 is made in China and does have the AS function.
