Apologies, not a plasma question, but theres enough people on here that are far more clued up than I, and the 'proper' forum for this is a bit dead.

Ive got my dvd player connected to one of the component inputs of my Denon AVR 2803.
Does anyone know if I can connect my VHS directly Via a scart to 3 RCA component cable to the other input?
(i.e. is it the 'right' type of component - syncs etc)
If not is scart to svideo the best option.
    thanks.

you would need to connect VCR to a composite input and can use one of these cables..http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/SC300.html red and white are for ausio and yellow is for video (composite) if the 2803 does video conversion then the component out to screen will work (if no conversion, you will need the composite out on 2803 to composite input on screen)
