Denon AVR-1911 Set up question

Hi,

Is there a setting to enable the settings, or any for that matter, menu on the TV?

I can't seem to get anything displayed. The TV goes to blue screen when I press menu on the remote and enter start menu but nothing appears on the TV screen so I have to try and do it from the LED read out on the front of the device.

No ideal!

Any ideas?

The TV is connected via HDMI to the first HDMI socket on it.

You have to have a HDMI source selected when you go into the config mode.

E.g. If you have a DVD connected to the amp via HDMI and then from the amp to the TV via HDMI. Make sure the HDMI input is configured for the DVD in the amp. Then when you select DVD as the source the config screen should come up on the screen when you select it.

Hope that makes sense . I could be talking rubbish though.
