I have decided (99.999%) that the Denon AVR-1905 is the AV receiver for me. I was wondering if anybody has this amp and can confirm that it is money well spent for £300. Cheers.

I also posted this question in another thread discussing the AVR-1905, but since I am interested in various opinions, could you share your impressions about the stereo performance of the 1905. I am sure it manages multichannel sources perfectly, but still couldn't find any description of it's two channel performance (at least not from somebody who owns the receiver and has tested in home conditions).

Cheapest I've seen is £220 from Empire Direct. Unbeatable sell them for £224 but both are out of stock. Empire's "due in soon" status claims they'll be available in around a week. Enjoy! :)

Yes, and it puts me in a complex situation, since I am hesitating even more now between the Denon and the other option which is a Yamaha RXV-650. Unfortunately I cannot test the Yamaha, only the Denon, which complicates things even further.

Every store who gets them in has sold out within days, they told me they simply cannot believe how quickly they are selling.
