    Denon A/V-F100 or AVR3802
Has anyone had any experience with this?

I'm thinking of AVF100 along with kef eggs, my budget is about £1500.

I do also like the look of the AVR 3802 but that costs about the same as the AVF100 and then I need a DVD player.

If I got the 3802 I could use the xbox I’m going to be getting soon to use as a DVD player for a year or so, (or at least until my other half has forgotten about the £1500 or so on the amp and speakers ).

    So basically it’s either:

    AVF100 & Eggs
    or
    AVR3802, xbox & Eggs

    Any thoughts???

I´d go for the 3802, X-Box and the Kef eggs.

It´ll sound better, and you get to play games as a bonus.

If you shop around you might be able to save enough to get another dvd player anyway. Something like a Toshiba SD210.

    cheers

i have the avf100 system and it is awesome, i don,t use the dvd player i kept my philips and sold the denon to a mate( picture quality on his tosh rp is stunning

the amp and speakers are gems

really excellent dd5.1 and dts sound good bass from the sub and the speakers just disappear in to the room. if you want a system that isn,t going to take over your living room and give your great sound and picture go for this

£999 at hifibitz including the speakers

I got my 3802 and KHT 2005 for about £1300. So you should still have change from your £1500 for an SD210 (which I also have and am very happy with)

    Regards
