    Hi,

I've been offered a Dennon AVCA11SR 2nd hand by a colleague who is upgrading to High Def for £300 (and an Arcam DV88 for £250 too for that matter)

I know it doesn't support HDMI, but that's ok as I wasn't planning to go Hi Def just yet. Is £300 a fair price for the amp ? What's the consensus of opionon on the amp?

    Thanks

    Matt

An excellent machine that cost £1,800 when new. Look here for a review. If it's in good condition then I would think it's a no-brainer.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

    I just got an 4308, but had a AVC-A1 then got a AVC-A11SR...The A11SR is a fantastic amp and £300 is a steal.

Must say that the Dolby Digital output is about 10db higher than most amps (dont know if this a THX thing). DD is much louder than DTS on the A11SR. DD on the 4308 is not as good an assult on the ears as the A11SR...Top amp

I got one here thats mint, and i do mean mint.
