I'm thinking of buying a Denon AVC-A1SE or A1SR or A1SRA

What are the differences between these amps? Sound quality or just features?

At the moment I have a Sony VA777ES with a Arcam CD92 & rDAC connected via phono and a PS3 (for bluray) and Sky+HD connected to a Hdmi splitter with optical out into the amp and Hdmi to the tv. Setup is a Stereo setup with B&W CM7 speakers. The Hdmi splitter sends Dolby/dts to the amp via optical which decodes it down to 2ch stereo.

Thanks

POST retracted.

Information incorrect.

My apologies for any confusion.

The A1SR and A1SRA are virtually identical but the A1SRA has Denon Link 3, Dolby Pro Logic IIx and HDCD decoding. A1SRA specs below:-

The standard original A1SE has a completely different pre-amp section, DAC's, Processing and features. There was also an upgrade for the A1SE which brought it almost up to A1SR spec. For sound quality the upgraded A1SE and A1SR/A1SRA are close as a gnats chuff to each other but all are better than a standard A1SE (which is still excellent).
