I currently have a Yamaha 640 amp powering my MS Avant full size setup.

I am considering upgrading my amp to a Denon 2803, but am wondering whether it will be a good match.

The yamaha has a nice warm sound, but for not much money, I can upgrade.

Does anybody hear run their MS speakers with a Denon amp? Please can anybody advise me whether this is a good idea.

    Any help would be great!

I have heard that the Denon is a good match to MS speakers as the Denon also has a 'warm' sound.

As a slightly different question, I'm not sure going from the Yam 640 to the Denon 2803 would be a worthwhile upgrade. If one at all.
