    Hi,

I'm in search of a processor that can at least match the A1SR in both movies and music and I'm hoping that the Rotel RSP-1066 is that processor.

Has anyone had alot of experience listening to the above products to form an opinion of which is better for movies and music?

I have not listened to both, but the a1sr has the same dual sharc chips that the high end tag uses, 16 x1738 burr brown (very high quality dacs), video upconversion, decent remote, dolby headphone, thx ultra 2 etc.

As you can get the a1s for £2000 or less, I know which one I would prefer - you could always use the denons power amps to power your rears.
