They are talking about a new version of the AVC-A1SR with new features like Dolby Prologic 2x and Denon Digital Link 3.

For the owners of the AVC-A1SR they are providing an upgrade for the new features.
There is no shippingdate for that upgrade as Denon has not decided on how to make it available to the public.

There appears to be no clear idea at Denon on how to deal with this. Currently the AVS-A1SR ships as A1SR A with what appears with D-Link2, but Prologic IIx and HDCD.

There has been talk of a possible firmware update at dealers for the software changes (possibly for free), but the D-Link3 appears to need a hardware change to the link which will require shipping to Denon and a cost.
