Denon A1SE help required

Can anyone who knows about this amp/owns it please tell me if it is possible to boost the sub on the Ext ins as I am using analogues from my S550 to the A1SE and I don't think I can but I just want confirmation so I can forget about that idea.

Also, does anyone have a player hooked up to this amp receiving HD audio?
