Denon A1 - how good?

Morning all

There's an A1 up for grabs in "classifieds" at the mo and not seeming to get much interest. I am going to go HD for DVD by means of top end media centre next year.

However I want to upgrade my CD player - Arcam 7SE - which has had a hard life and also my SD DVD - Samsung. Is this worth a look??

Feed it through my A11xva and maybe use the upscaling in that?? PLUS i get to use Denon Link for audio CD. Any thoughts? Protects my legacy stuff??
