    Hi

You would need to contact your nearest Denon agent to see if they can get hold of the Multiregion Firmware for it (if possible). I don't think there will be an upgrade for it to Denon Link3 though. The later 5900 and 5910 players require both a hardware and firmware upgrade for Denon Link3. Bit like my upgraded A1SE (AVR 5800) the best you can hope for is Denon Link S.E. The good news is that Denon Link S.E is compatible with Denon Link 3 so you would able to pass Dolby/DTS/PCM/DVD Audio from your player to the 5803. The 5803 can be upgraded to 5803A spec as well, which will give you HDCD, Dolby PLIIx and Denon Link3 (for the later players). :)

I have an all region (MR) firmware disc for the DVD-A1, I believe they are the same player.

The firmware is from early this year, so it's quite recent, although not the latest... It doesn't fix the chroma bug or anything.

Let me know how you want it.
