denon 700 or 900

    What's the difference between the Denon 700 & 900 ? Does anyone know ? I tried the Denon UK web site & they dont even show a 900 !!!!

    You mean the Denon Uk site doesn't show the 700.

    The 700 is the replacement to the 900 and from what I gather the 700 has a better video decoding chip. From the reviews I read (can't find the link) it was a pretty damn good unit.

    the dvd-700 uses 12-bit 54MHz video d/a converter, compared to the dvd-900 only 10-bit 27MHz . the 700 supports WMA and picture cd and also comes in silver

    I've just ordered the 700 for it's seamless layer change and the rest of it's spec.It has Component Out as well,the 900 doesn't.

    It comes in Gold,Silver and Black.
