    Hi,

Pondering between Denon 550SD and the Marantz Hollywood.

I like the look and reviews of both of these one box/separates (if that's not contradiction!).

But I enjoy listening to 2-channel stereo too (mainly rock, blues) and wonder whether anyone here has any experience comparing the two for music CDs? One review I read of the Marantz specifically praised its music ability which sways me, but I'm not too keen on slot loading on reliability basis (though never a problem on my Mac laptop!) plus resistance to kids being less than gentle feeding in disks.

Thanks in advance for any comments on either system, as well as specifically on music performance.

    Adrian

IF you are not too keen on the slot loading, take a look at the Marantz Hollywood take 2 at £700.

Thanks for that - had no idea there was a Take 2!
