denon 500sd or separates (denon190&tannoy fx

    i have a budget of around 400£ need to set up home cinema system for room about 7m/4m
    would denon 500 sd be better choice or to go for denon 1905 or sony 795 with speakers
    choice of speakers offered has been elac movie mark2/tannoy fx5.1
    suggestions please

    I personally would go for separates rather than all-in-ones as they give you more flexibility moving forward. However I’ve heard the Denon 500 & imo it’s a fantastic proposition. But remember you’ll need to add speaker stands to your budget of £400 which could add another £100 to your total.

    Try and demo the separates if you can. Can’t comment on the speakers as I’ve never heard them.
