Anyone know if these would work in UK, i.e. whether they fit a switching power supply to an American market item?

Both seem quite a lot cheaper than UK equivalent.

    Cheers
    Rob.

No auto-PSU insude (remember, they have AC outlets too, at the US voltage). You just need a step-up transformer (and don't power any UK equipment off the back of it !)

Do not use a switching mode power supply. What you need is a step-DOWN transformer (230V > 110V) but with the required power rating it has to be rather big and thus expensive.
As well the video section of the AV amp might not be able to handle PAL, so take note.

    Thanks both.

Prob simpler to just get a UK one after all.

    Cheers
    Rob.
