Denon 4310 2500bt Compatibility

I'm looking at a Denon 2500bt to go with my Denon 4310. Seeing that the 2500bt is a transport I want to be sure that this combination would work ie sound and vision all feeding through the HDMI cable. Sadly I'm not up on the technical stuff to know if the 4310 can accept a transport and do the rest. Any guidance very gratefully received.

The combo would be fine, the player will bitstream the audio via HDMI to the 4310.
