    Hi All,
This is my first post and I am a bit of a noobie so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but.... I am interested in a receiver that does video upscaling and switching (maybe the Denon 4306). I like the idea of a single lead to my projector and simplified wiring. Going on from this thought, I wondered if I could do the same sort of thing with the speakers. So, for the sake of simplicity, wondered about the Yamaha all in one speakers like the YSP-800's to go with the Denon 4306. Is this a stupid thing to do or would it sound OK or is it wasting the capabilities of the 4306.
    Confused or what?
BTW I will be mostly using the kit for video rather than audio.

The Yamaha YSP is not just a speaker - it's got the amps intoo. You could use it with an AV amp but the AV amp would only be the switching device, all the processing and amplification would be dealt with at the YSP. Waste of money if you ask me - could just buy the YSP unit and a seperate video scaler.
